some new musings

----

the clock sticks.
you sit next to me, breathe the same air as me.
another you also sits next to me, in another continent or country.
everything circulates.

you turn and smile. the formica or plywood or linoleum is cold.
you turn and smile. cold is not cold.
warm is not warm.
she says, "everything is made up."

wholes and halves of oranges in bowls, blood-red oranges seeping
into holes, unhalves, teeth and tongues.
rinds curl in minutes, exposed to air.
we sit on counters and exhale with each thought
steamy showers
doors that say "hi hello".
eyes that say or
minds that say.
words say "he doesn't know".

I'm really interested in creating and distributing postcards. I have recently made a few but have yet to send them out. These are all one of a kind so it's hard to part with them sometimes!

My next photography project will involve tin types. Basically I will be printing on tin in the darkroom. Crossing my fingers that it will turn out well!

Printed on rives bfk paper with cyan processing. Photographs were taken on a road trip from Missouri to California:

This blogger stands as my makeshift website until I am able to get one up and running. On the right side column are some of my fully finished, past writings. I will begin to post my photography and in-progress writing pieces as well.

I just recently started writing for a St. Louis music magazine called Eleven. I will post links to my pieces soon. The link for their website can be found on the right side column. My first piece will be featured in the March issue. Pretty excited for it!
